We should, however, like to know if the Governor

of the Colony would suggest any alteration of this

programme, and Colonel Davidson asks me to enquire

if the Colonial Office could telegraph to him about

it.

He further wishes me to ask if any answer has

yet been received to the telegram to the Governor

General of Canada enquiring whether April 12th or

April 19th would be the most suitable for the members

of the Mission, excepting His Royal Highness and his

Equerry, to leave Canada.

He would like that reply, when received from
